Police said Crittenton was robbed of his jewelry earlier this year, so he tried to shoot the man he believed robbed him, but instead he shot and killed Jones.
Police said Jones, a mother of four, was walking with two men when she was shot and they believe one of the men with her was the target.
We developed information that he was in the airport and possibly boarding a flight back to Atlanta tonight, said Scott Garriola of the FBI. When we responded to the airport, we located him inside the terminal and took him into custody.
Its not clear when Crittenton will be extradited back to Atlanta.
His attorneys said he is not guilty and they look forward to getting the case to the courts.
