FAIRBURN, Ga. — The mother of a missing Fairburn boy says he was found safe at the Publix in Tyrone on Highway 74 around 8:15 a.m. Friday.
Police said 11-year-old Ricky Wang was last seen getting off his school bus outside his neighborhood on Johnson Road around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Witnesses told investigators the boy walked down Johnson Road toward Coweta County instead of into his subdivision.
Police said Ricky does not have friends or relatives in the direction he was last seen walking.
Someone reported seeing Ricky on Palmetto Tyrone Road, near Lincoln Road, in Tyrone, around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
