CUMMING, Ga. — A Cumming man on his way to work is dead after his SUV went off the road and landed in a creek, getting trapped inside.
Police said Myung Youl Park, 51, lost control of his Ford Explorer at about 6:45 a.m. Thursday on Sanders Road.
Investigators said Park was driving into a curve on the road when his right side tires went off the road. Park tried to correct the SUV but lost control and ended up flipping his car into a creek.
Police said Park was trapped inside while his SUV was partly submerged in water, killing him.
A school bus driver spotted the SUV at about 8 a.m. and called police.
