Joint Base Andrews is on lockdown Thursday morning after a report of an active shooter.
The notice was posted shortly after 9 a.m. ET.
All personnel have been directed to shelter in place.

There are reports that there was a planned drill today, but it is not known at this time if the lockdown is related to the drill or not.
