DULUTH, Ga. — Gwinnett police have identified a body discovered in the landscaping area of an apartment complex Friday.
Officials said the victim is 19-year-old Deonte Moore of Norcross.
Moore's body was found at the Bridgewater Apartments located in the 1500 block of Ridge Brook Trail in Duluth just after 10 a.m.
News Chopper 2 flew over the scene and captured video of crime investigators.
Police said witnesses reported hearing gunshots around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Moore suffered at least one gunshot wound, investigators said.
Investigators said evidence recovered at the scene indicates that drugs may have been involved.
