ATLANTA — The swinging sounds of jazz will be in the air at the inaugural Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Gala, which will be held Friday, February 4, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the elegant InterContinental Hotel Buckhead in Atlanta. The evening will include an intimate performance by jazz trumpeter Chris Botti and his band. Proceeds will benefit the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra (ASYO).
Patron guests will begin their evening at 7:00 p.m. with a pre-concert cocktail reception, including a signature cocktail, passed hors d'oeuvres, and the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive meet and greet with acclaimed jazz trumpeter Chris Botti. Mr. Botti's performance will begin at 8:00 p.m., and will be followed by a "Champagne supper" – a buffet dinner featuring elegant Southern cuisine. A string quartet of Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians will perform to further enhance the festive atmosphere of the meal. After dinner, patrons will have the opportunity to bid on luxury items, including a week-long trip to Buenos Aires, in a live auction. Cocktail attire is the appropriate dress for the evening.
The Youth Orchestra is an integral member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra family and a vigorous part of the cultural fabric of the Atlanta community. The ASYO strives for national preeminence among youth orchestras, while cultivating the artistic growth and excellence of its members through enriching orchestral experiences and the mentoring from Atlanta Symphony musicians.

Ticket packages are divided into three tiers:
$1,250 Platinum Sponsor level – includes an exclusive pre-concert Meet & Greet with Chris Botti, in addition to the pre-concert cocktail hour, concert, and Champagne supper.
$500 Gold Benefactor level – includes the pre-concert cocktail hour, concert, and post-concert Champagne supper.
$250 Silver Patron level – includes the pre-concert cocktail hour and concert.
