ATLANTA — Sacred Heart Tattoo presents the 14th annual Atlanta Tattoo Festival at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Atlanta-Perimeter Northwest on Friday, June 4 through Sunday, June 6, 2010. The annual three-day festival features world-class tattoo artists and offers live tattooing, seminars, vendors, contests, food, drinks and much more. Attracting thousands of attendees each year, the Atlanta Tattoo Festival was founded by Tony Olivias, one of Georgia's premier tattoo artists and owner of Sacred Heart Tattoo in Little 5 Points, Norcorss, Centerville, Austell and Warner Robins. Bringing together the some of the world's best tattoo artists, the three-day event has become an Atlanta tradition; exposing people of all ages and backgrounds to the ever-growing art form and the exciting culture that surrounds it. From avid collectors to first timers and the curious at heart, the Atlanta Tattoo Festival invites attendees to mingle with and get tattooed by some of the best tattoo artists in the world, shop for unique gifts, participate in contests, and enjoy a variety of food and drinks. Aspiring and seasoned tattoo artists also have the opportunity to participate in seminars during the festival.
New to this year, the Atlanta Tattoo Festival will have a bikini contest by the pool on Saturday, June 5 at 6 p.m. that will be emceed by Chris Longo a.k.a. the Mayor of Tattooville. It is $10 to enter and all participating contestants receive a one-day free pass and have the opportunity to win $500. Contestants can sign-up at the registration booth at the event and must be 18 years and older to enter. Registration ends at 3 p.m. the day of the contest.
This year's festival will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Atlanta-Perimeter, which is located at 1-75 and 1-285. The festival is open to all ages. One, two and three-day passes are available at $20, $30 and $40. Ages 18 and under get in free.
