Cupid's Undie Run In 2010, a group of do-gooders, led by co-founders Brendan Hanrahan, Chad Leathers and Bobby Gill, dropped their pants and ran through the Washington D.C. cold to raise money for research to help end neurofibromatosis (NF), a rare genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. They ran in their undies because those affected with NF can’t cover up their tumors, so they decided to strip down in solidarity.
Since 2010, Cupid’s Charity was created and became a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission to end NF by funding much needed research. It has raised over $21,700,000 to date, with 100% of net proceeds funding research through our partner the Children’s Tumor Foundation, the world’s leader in NF research.
Cupid's Undie Run There are runs all over the country, including Atlanta. The Atlanta event is set for Saturday, Feb. 21 at ORMSBY'S located in the Westside Provisions District with events from noon until 4pm. The run starts around 2pm. (Nelson Hicks)

Hannah Thompson is the former race director for Atlanta. She grew up with Chad Leathers who co-founded the event. Cupid's Undie Run was originally started for Leather's brother Drew. She's been rounding up herds of people who love to run in their undies ever since. Along with Chris Griffith, they've been in charge of the Atlanta event all four years.
