Guns N’ Roses launch stadium tour, will play Atlanta

“Don’t Cry” Guns N’ Roses fans. After a slew of Atlanta concert announcements over the last few weeks didn’t include Axel, Slash and the guys, fans had to show some “Patience.”

That patience is being rewarded. Fans won’t have to wait “14 Years” to see the band. Guns N’ Roses announced a new stadium tour that includes a Wednesday, Aug. 12 date. Georgia Tech will transform into “Paradise City” that night as the band plays Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The tour kicks off in Mexico City on March 14. The band will spend three months overseas before heading stateside, opening the U.S. leg of the tour in Milwaukee on July 4.

GNR will be the first-ever rock band to perform at the long-awaited Los Angeles SoFi Stadium. They’ll play it Aug. 8, the show before the Atlanta tour stop.

The iconic rock heroes will show off their vast catalog of hits on the road including “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Paradise City,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “November Rain.”

In 2016 Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan shocked and thrilled fans around the world after revealing they were reuniting for their now historic Not In This Lifetime Tour. That tour included a 2016 tour stop in Atlanta.

Tickets go on sale to the general public for North American dates starting Friday, February 7 at noon.
