Some of the nation’s best college basketball players will descend on Atlanta in early April. And they plan to put on quite the show.

Atlanta will host the college slam dunk and 3-point championship at State Farm Arena on Thursday, April 2 as part of the 2020 NCAA Final Four. Mercedes-Benz Stadium hosts the national semifinals on April 4. The championship game tips off April 6.

Twenty-four of the nation’s elite men’s and women’s college basketball players will convene in Atlanta to participate in the event. The night features a men’s and women’s 3-point competition. The female and male winner will then battle it out in the Battle of Champions. There’s a team shootout competition in addition to the dunk contest.

Tickets start at $10 for the cheap seats. Courtside seats cost $175.

“Over the years, college basketball’s most exciting dunkers and premier shooters have competed against the best at the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships,” said event producer Intersport’s executive vice president, Drew Russell. “National Basketball Hall of Famers and NCAA All-Americans have provided some memorable moments at this all-star showcase, and we are excited to add to that history at State Farm Arena this April. It will undoubtedly be an entertaining atmosphere for fans that want to be part of such a special weekend of college basketball.”

Notable past participants include Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Jason Terry, Kyle Korver, Bobby Hurley, Michael Finley and Allan Houston.

A list of participants for this year’s event will be released closer to the event.
