Norwegian Cruise Line announces cancelation of cruises through October due to coronavirus pandemic

With no end to the coronavirus pandemic in sight, Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the company’s ships will remain empty of passengers through October.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had set a non-sail order through Sept. 30.

Norwegian will not embark on voyages through Oct. 31, USA Today reported; neither will Regent Seven Seas Cruises nor Oceania Cruises.

The company made the announcement Wednesday morning.
