LOS ANGELES — Mandy Moore is the latest star to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame honor.
Entertainment Tonight reported that the singer-songwriter and actress was supported by "This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman and co-stars Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz, Susan Kelechi Watson and Jon Huertas.
Fogelman started the event,
to “the Mandy Moore roast.”
that Moore’s “A Walk to Remember” co-star Shane West surprised her when he shared an old photo of the pair after they wrapped the 2002 teen romance film. He also gave a heartfelt speech at the Monday ceremony in Los Angeles.
“Not only was this film a wonderful experience in every way, it gave me the chance to fall for this fantastic woman,” West said. “Mandy, you are an absolute gem, your smile is absolutely ridiculous -- seriously, it's ridiculous, and it lights up the room when you walk in -- your energy is irresistible, and your heart is second to none.”
West and Moore played love interests in the film, which was directed by Adam Shankman, who was also at the event.
Moore tweeted a thank you to West after the ceremony, writing, "Stars have always sort of been our thing. Thankful to @shanewest for his kind words on this very special day, one which I will never forget. It was a walk (of fame) to remember."
