Postal Worker Accused Of Stabbing Supervisor

ATLANTA,None — A postal worker who allegedly stabbed his supervisor at least nine times was under arrest Monday morning, according to police.

The attack happened at the bulk mail center on James Jackson Parkway in Atlanta just after midnight, a police commander told Channel 2's Darryn Moore.

The attacker came from behind with a knife and stabbed the victim in the ear, face and back, police said.

The attacker surrendered to police at the scene, but would not reveal what provoked the attack, police told Moore.

The man told police he was a law school student, and fully aware of his rights, witnesses at the scene said. Police said they had not found the weapon used in the stabbing. Authorities would not identify the victim or accused attacker, but told Moore the stabber was charged with aggravated assault.
