ATLANTA,None — Police arrested a suspect in a double shooting at the Greenbriar Mall in southwest Atlanta on Monday afternoon.
Shontae Jones, 17, was shot outside the mall after an argument in the food court, according to Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. Curtis Davenport.
The argument spilled outside the mall, where Brandon Woods pulled a gun out and shot Jones, according to Davenport. Police said Woods was also shot during the argument.
Jones had a single gunshot wound to the leg, Woods was hit with a bullet in the groin, according to Channel 2's Eric Philips who was at the scene.
Newschopper 2 flew over the mall and showed police surrounding the property while they loaded a SUV loaded onto a tow truck. The mall was open, according to Philips.
Only Woods had been charged, according to police.
