NEW YORK CITY — Donald Trump celebrated Cinco De Mayo with a taco bowl and a shout out to the Hispanic community.
The holiday is an annual celebration of Mexican culture and heritage.
Trump tweeted a picture from his office on Thursday showing him eating a taco bowl at his desk.
Trump's tweet read, "Happy
CincoDeMayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!"

Holiding true to the presidential campaign, there was scrutiny about the taco bowl immediately after the social media post.
Trump's presumptive opponent in the general election, Hillary Clinton reached out to Hispanic and black voters in the hope of waging a final knockout against rival Bernie Sanders.
Clinton's visit to the Golden State Thursday coincides with Cinco de Mayo. She plans to rally supporters in the gymnasium of a community college that serves heavily Hispanic cities on the edge of Los Angeles.
