CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga.,None — Police said a 19-year-old was charged in the disappearance and slaying of a metro Atlanta woman who had been missing since July.
Police said they believe they found the body of Janelle Aaron, 20, on Thursday behind The Sherwood Cemetery.
Officials said the father of Aaron's 8-month-old child, Errol Moore Jr., 19, admitted to Clayton County Police Department detectives that he killed her.
Police said Moore provided information to detectives and told them where to find her body.
Channel 2 Action News was there as Moore made his way to a squad car with his lips sealed Thursday night.
He was charged with murder in connection with the disappearance and death of Aaron. He was also charged with concealing a death and aggravated assault, police said.
Aaron was last seen in Riverdale in July.
Officials with the Clayton County Police Department said they are waiting on an autopsy from The Georgia Bureau of Investigation to confirm the identify of the remains that were found.
