GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga.,None — A man was shot in the face outside a Gwinnett County apartment complex, Gwinnett County police said.
The shooting happened at about 3 p.m Tuesday at the Landmark at Bella Vista Apartments in the 4000 block of Satellite Boulevard in Duluth.
Investigators said someone found the victim lying outside. He was taken to an area hospital, where his injuries were said to be non-life-threatening.
Police said the shooter was later located with the help of Suwanee police. Authorities said a preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting may have been in self-defense.
Authorities have not released the suspect or victim's names.
