WSB Traffic Center dedicated to Captain Herb Emory

ATLANTA — A special honor is now in place in the WSB Traffic Center. On Tuesday, the Traffic Center was dedicated to Captain Herb Emory.

Captain Herb died in April after suffering a heart attack.

The plaque reads: We dedicate the WSB Traffic Center to our beloved friend and colleague, Herb Emory. Captain Herb was a leader - genuine, kind, always positive, always selfless and always larger than life. His was a life lived in constant service to others. His dedication to easing the metro Atlanta commute drove him to build the most talented and experienced traffic team in America. His memory inspires the men and women who work in this space to strive diligently to carry on his legacy of constant service. His spirit comforts us as we smile and remember his "Good Morning and Good Driving," "The Skycopter Lounge" and "Oh, My Aching Toe!"
