EAST POINT, Ga. — A group of four metro Atlanta police departments have teamed up for a large drug bust.
According to the East Point Police Department, they were part of a crime suppression operation on Wednesday with the Atlanta Police Department, City of South Fulton Police Department and the MARTA Police Department.

East Point police say they didn’t hold back, utilizing their helicopter and units on the ground.
They say that several people were arrested and at least three guns were recovered. The exact amount and types of drugs recovered during the operation has not yet been released.
There is also no word on the identities of those arrested at this time.
