JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Public Safety is investigating an accident where a farm tractor and car collided.

On Monday, officers were called to a crash involving a car and farm tractor on a road in Jefferson County.
Officials said speed was a significant factor in the crash.

The Department of Public Safety reminds drivers traveling through rural Georgia areas to slow down and pay attention to farm vehicles on the road.
Both vehicles appeared to have suffered significant damage.
