BIBB COUNTY, Ga. — A few alligators wanted to “par-tee” on a Georgia golf course, but animal control said “fore-get” about it!

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said it happened on a golf course over the weekend. Deputies were called out in response to alligators wandering around on the golf course.
Ofc. Rebecca Galeazzo later captured a total of four alligators.

The gators were returned unharmed to the wild, far away from humans, which is all “fore” the best.

According to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, there are 200,000 - 250,000 alligators in Georgia.
The alligators hibernate in dens during winter, but may emerge during brief spells of warmer weather, Georgia Aquarium stated.
