COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — Several trees fell down during Thursday afternoon’s severe weather.
The trees caused damages to homes and closed roads in counties across north Georgia.

Ring camera video from a viewer in Coweta County captured the moment when a tall tree fell down in an Arbor Springs subdivision in Newnan.
The video shows the tree toppling over across the street and falling in a yard. There were no reports of injuries from this particular fallen tree.
However, that was not the case in other counties on Thursday. In Spalding County, a man was pinned under a tree at his Griffin home for hours before crews were able to rescue him.
There was also a report of a 5-year-old child killed due to a falling tree in Butts County.

Channel 2′s Tom Jones was LIVE in Griffin on Thursday evening on Channel 2 Action News at 6 p.m. where multiple trees were down on different streets.
Emergency crews in these counties have been working to try and clear the roads and clean up the trees in Thursday’s severe weather aftermath.
