COBB COUNTY, Ga. — The Smyrna Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is wanted in connection in a series of armed robberies in Smyrna and Cobb County.
According to police, the man walked into the Little Caesars Pizza on Spring Road in Smyrna Feb. 19 begging for food. The suspect returned 30 minutes later and threatened the clerk with a ballpoint pen demanding money.
On Feb. 27, the same suspect entered Firehouse Subs on Camp Highland Road begging for food. The suspect returned 30 minutes later and presented a 6-inch orange handle knife and demanded money.
It’s unclear whether any business gave the man money.
