ATLANTA — Police say someone inside a home shot a homeless man that was digging through the trash outside early Monday morning.
The shooting happened on Spencer Street in northwest Atlanta around 2:30.
Reporter Sophia Choi said officers and the SWAT team were at the scene Monday morning. Two men and a woman came out of a home in the area after a SWAT robot was sent in and all three are now in custody. Police said one of them admitted to shooting the man.
Police said the shooting victim is stable.
