JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A Johns Creek man is facing child sex crime charges.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says that they executed a search warrant at the Johns Creek home of 43-year-old Joshua Newsome on Friday.

They say the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was looking into the online sharing of child sexual abuse material and were led to Newsome.
Agents seized electronic devices they say Newsome used to possess and distribute child pornography.

Newsome was arrested and subsequently charged with six counts of sexual exploitation of children (distribution of child pornography) and one count of sexual exploitation of children (possession of child pornography).
He was booked into the Fulton County Jail and bonded out two days later, according to jail records.
