Child stable following accidental shooting in Sandy Springs, police say

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Sandy Springs police are investigating how a child was shot at an apartment complex.

It happened Thursday afternoon at the Edgewater at Sandy Springs apartments along Roswell Road.

Investigators said the shooting appeared to be accidental and the child was stable at last check.

We are working to learn more about how the shooting happened as well as more about the child involved.
