LAGRANGE, Ga. — LaGrange police have arrested a man they say stole jewelry while holding a mother and son at gunpoint.
Last month, police responded to home on Gordon Street where a woman said that a masked man forced his way in, held them at gunpoint and forced them into a closet.
She said he made them open a safe, where he stole jewelry and ran off.

Over the weekend, police identified the suspect as Skylar Huzzie.
Huzzie was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of kidnapping, two counts of false imprisonment, two counts of aggravated, peeping tom, burglary, damage, elder exploitation and hindering a 911 call.
He’s being held in the Troup County Jail.
