SMYRNA, Ga. — Police are investigating after a missing woman was found dismembered at a Cobb County apartment complex.
Officials confirmed to Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell that the victim was found dismembered overnight.

Her name has not been released.
Police have arrested 18-year-old Kingston Lamar Bradley.
According to the warrant, someone witnessed Bradley outside the apartment building on Wednesday, carrying a plastic tub that contained a body part.
Bradley dropped the container on a dirt walkway and ran to his nearby apartment, when he saw the witness.
Smyrna police responded to a complex on Valley Parkway and found the woman’s body.
The warrant says police found several areas of blood staining and a large bloody saw in Bradley’s apartment, which stunk of bleach and contained a mop bucket with water.
He is currently being held in the Cobb County Jail and is charged with concealing the death of another.
Police searched this area behind the suspect’s apartment much of the day.
Smyrna police searched for evidence in two different parts of Park Valley Apartments on Thursday.
The crime scene tied to the discovery of a woman’s dismembered body hits too close to home for Alani Smith.
“Someone is dead, chopped up, and it’s scary,” Smith said. She lives in the same apartment complex as Kingston Lamar Bradley – an 18-year-old accused of concealing the victim’s death.
“I have two kids that live here,” Smith said. “They walk back and fourth to the bus. That’s scary.”
Police charged Bradley with shoplifting earlier this year.
He was charged with battery the following month after police say he got into a fight with his dad.
The warrant cites an extensive history of domestic disputes at the home.
Last year, police charged Bradley with terroristic threats, battery and other charges for another domestic dispute.
Now Bradley is charged with concealing someone’s death.
Smyrna police asked sandy springs police to bring their cadaver dog to pick up on areas of decomposition.
Police told Newell the victim disappeared before they found her body.
She lived in Fulton County, but investigators haven’t released her name.
