BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. — A former metro Atlanta deputy is among two people facing multiple charges following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse and exploitation of a child.

According to the Butts County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed arrest and search warrants Sept. 15 at a home on Dean Patrick Road as part of an ongoing investigation.
Authorities arrested Rylee Conner Willis and Abigail Elaine Davidson.
Willis faces numerous charges, including rape, aggravated sodomy, statutory rape, child molestation, aggravated assault and cruelty to children, according to the sheriff’s office.
Davidson is charged with trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, cruelty to children, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and party to a crime of child molestation.

Authorities said their investigation determined Willis was employed as a deputy sheriff with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office during some of the alleged offenses. Willis was previously arrested in Gwinnett County in January 2026 in a separate investigation involving allegations of child molestation, officials said.
The BCSO said investigators have since identified several more victims connected to the case. Officials said more charges are expected as detectives continue reviewing evidence.
“As Sheriff, protecting our children is one of my highest responsibilities,” Sheriff Gary Long said in a statement. “It does not matter who you are, what position you hold, or where you work—no one is above the law, and no child should ever be a victim of abuse.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
