KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A new mom was reunited with a woman who made national headlines earlier this week for her act of kindness on a flight.
Rebekka Garvison and Nyfesha Miller formed a unique friendship when Miller offered to help the new mom with her baby, Rylee, aboard a flight. Rylee wouldn't stop crying, so Miller cradled her in her arms. As soon as she did, Rylee fell fast asleep for the entire flight.
Garvison, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, posted photos of the encounter to her Facebook page where they quickly went viral.
The trio reunited again on another flight this week. Garvison posted a photo of the reunion to her Facebook page.
“This trip has been amazing,” Garvison wrote in a post the morning before returning home. “We were able to encounter an amazing woman who we can now call a lifelong friend.”

Since their encounter, the two have stayed in touch, appearing on national television together, both shocked by the attention their story has gotten.
“I’m almost at a loss for words by all this,” Miller wrote to Garvison on Facebook. “So incredibly grateful to have met you.”
“I feel the same way,” Garvison responded.
