MCINTYRE, Ga. — Monday marked one year since Georgia reality star Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, 29, passed away after a cancer battle.

Her mother, “Mama June” Shannon, posted an emotional tribute to her daughter last week, writing that she “would give my last penny to just talk to her.”

“Living in a house Anna passed in is so hard not just on me but the whole family,” Shannon wrote.

She went on to say that Cardwell is still in the family group chat, and won’t be removed anytime soon.

“Sorry, who gets her number one day [you] better not remove yourself,” she wrote.

Cardwell was diagnosed with stage IV adrenal carcinoma in January 2023 after experiencing stomach aches. The cancer was also found in her liver, kidney and lung. In May, the family revealed that the cancer was terminal. Cardwell is the mom of two daughters.

It will be a year on Monday and we miss the hell out of Anna Marie Cardwell and would give my last penny to just talk...
