HENRY COUNTY, Ga. - Police are investigating a shooting near a Walmart in Henry County.
Channel 2 Action News has confirmed the shooting happened behind the Walmart on N. Henry Blvd. in Stockbridge.
Investigators at the scene told Channel 2’s Tom Jones that a woman picked up three men in a nearby neighborhood around 9 a.m. Friday to give them a ride to Walmart. The woman's son said they were teens she thought she recognized from the neighborhood.
He said they appeared to be 15 or 16 years old.
The teens allegedly told the woman to go behind the shopping center next to Walmart. At that point, she became suspicious and tried to get out of the car.

Police say one of the teens shot her in the stomach. She was able to get one of their guns and shoot back.
Witnesses said the woman ran into a dry cleaners for help. Workers said they thought the woman was up to no good because she had a gun.
"I saw the lady with the gun so I just came in and locked the door," Jigna Patel said.
Patel said the woman then screamed that she had been robbed.
According to police, the teens ran away from the scene and remain on the run.
The victim's son said his mother is stable.
