GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police have released some intense video of a shooting outside a club, in hopes someone recognizes the shooters.
Video of the incident outside the club is about 70 seconds long and it is intense.
No people were hurt in the melee, but police are focused on finding the three suspects, fearing there might be a different outcome the next time.
“We are very fortunate that our officers were not dispatched to a homicide call,” Gwinnett County police Cpl. Michele Pihera said.
Less than three hours into the new year, security at the Encore KTV Lounge on Venture Drive in Gwinnett County escorted a group of men outside after a fight.
Police said two of them pulled out guns.
“In the video, you can see that one of the firearms is a rifle and one appears to be a handgun,” Pihera said.
Security videos recorded as the man with the rifle began shooting into the air as they left. He then turned around again and opened fire toward the building, shooting out a window.
Two women sitting outside barely escaped.
“We are very lucky they did not get hit that night,” Pihera said.
Detectives have identified the three men as suspects, but don't know their names.
“We are urging the public to not only watch this video, but help us identify who the players are,” Pihera said.
Police believe that car might be a Mercedes, but they are not sure.
Detectives have been following up on this case since it happened and are releasing images of the three men in hopes that the public can identify them.
