GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Three children were rescued from a house fire Tuesday evening in Norcross.
Gwinnett County Fire & Emergency Services responded to a house fire in the 6100 block of Wandering Way in Norcross around 7:40 p.m.
When they arrived, fire crews found a working fire at a single-family, two-story home.

The fire was contained and under control around 8 p.m. Three children were taken to the hospital and an adult was treated and released by medics at the scene.
A total of six people were at the home when the fire started, but they were able to escape before firefighters arrived.

The residents told fire officials they had been cooking earlier but did not know what started the fire. The cause is under investigation.
