BUFORD, Ga. — The arrest of a taxi driver led Gwinnett County police to a drug bust and over $22,000 in cash.

On May 15, officers responded to a shots fired call at the Paramount Apartment Complex.
Witnesses were able to identify 32-year-old Hector Armando Moreno Luzardo as a taxi driver and said he fired at a customer after a ride service.

Luzardo was arrested on May 26 after authorities executed a search warrant at his home.
Here’s a breakdown of what law enforcement said was found:
- 119 grams of cocaine
- 65 grams of methamphetamines
- 72 grams of marijuana
- $22,600 in cash
- A stolen handgun

Luzardo is charged with three counts of aggravated assault, possession of firearms during commission of a crime, discharging a firearm near a public highway, reckless conduct, criminal trespass, trafficking cocaine and methamphetamines, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and theft by receiving a stolen firearm.
