Deputies track down parents of boy found hiding in Forsyth Co.

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — After an hours-long search, the Forsyth County  Sheriff's Office says they have located the parents of a boy found off Highway 9 last night.

Deputies said Gyasi Frances, 12, was found hiding in bushes near McFarland Tuesday around 11 p.m. He told deputies that he just moved to the area from New York a few weeks ago and does not know where he lives.

Just before 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office credited social media for helping track down the boy's parents.
