DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A DeKalb County community is mourning the loss of a former football player.
Lucius Chitty, 19, drowned in a lake at an Indiana park Monday.
He played for the Tucker High School football team before graduating in 2019.
Tuesday afternoon, the team made a Facebook post about the 19-year-old’s death and featured his picture from signing day.
The Facebook post received dozens of messages from friends, family and former teachers expressing their condolences.
