CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — Two firefighters are recovering from a crash in Carroll County.
The fire truck was responding to a medical call Thursday morning, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say the truck crashed on Clem Lowell Road, injuring two firefighters.
One firefighter was airlifted to a hospital in Atlanta with a fractured leg.
The other firefighter was taken to Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton with head injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Both firefighters are expected to be okay. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
