ATLANTA — Strong storms moved through parts of metro Atlanta Wednesday night, bringing down trees and power lines.
Channel 2 Action News was in Fayette County, where a tree crashed down on a home. It’s unclear if anyone was inside the home when the tree fell or if anyone was injured.

Channel 2 Action News viewers also reported heavy damage across Peachtree City. We’re working to learn more about the extent of that damage.
Thousands of people were without power.

Viewers also reported damage in Griffin, where trees fell across roads.
The Georgia Department of Transportation reported that a tree fell on I-185, blocking lanes.
