Retailer Primark has opened its first Augusta location at Augusta Mall, expanding its store presence in Georgia.

The new location follows the company’s debut in Georgia at Sugarloaf Mills in Lawrenceville on Sept. 8.
With the opening at Augusta Mall, the brand now operates 48 stores across 16 states.
The location features 28,000 square feet of retail selling space.

Pricing at the store includes women’s denim starting at $12, men’s t-shirts starting at $5 and children’s sweatshirts starting at $8.
The store also carries licensed merchandise for local sports teams, including the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons.
Opening day activities began at noon, with giveaways for the first shoppers in line.
