Gwinnett County Police say they are assisting U.S. Marshals search for a murder suspect wanted out of New York.
There is currently a search underway for Kean Wiggins. He was last seen in the area of Binnies Way off Braselton Highway Thursday morning. Wiggins is considered armed and dangerous, according to an emergency alert sent out by GCPD.

Channel 2 Gwinnett County Bureau Chief Matt Johnson has learned that Twins River Middle School is being evacuated nearby as a precaution. The school is moving students to 12 Stone Church.
The district confirmed two other schools are on a soft lockdown: Freeman’s Mill Elementary School and Mountain View High School.
Gwinnett County police say Braselton Highway is closed between Lena Carter Road and Old Peachtree Road for the investigation.
