HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — A Lawrenceville man was charged with invading a home near Cornelia Thursday morning.
The suspect is accused of forcing entry into a home on East Walnut Street, according to Habersham County Sheriff’s Office.

It all unfolded when the elderly resident heard someone come into her home around 8 a.m. She realized it was not a family member after calling out the relative’s name a couple of times.
She then yelled at the uninvited person to get out of her house. The man, Joshua Adam Doster, ran out the front door of his intended victim’s home.

Habersham County deputies responded and used Cornelia police to help match up videos of the 49-year-old suspect running down East Walnut Street a couple of minutes before a Ford pickup was seen on the road.
The truck was spotted in the driveway of nearby home. Once deputies got permission to search the home, they discovered Doster in the back of a clothes closet. Doster refused arrest.
Habersham County Sheriff’s Office charged Doster with burglary, obstruction, and criminal trespass in connection to the forced entry at his elderly victim’s home.
