Reward offered for woman police say fled to New York after shooting metro man

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman they believe shot and killed a man in Douglasville in June.

Officers responded to calls of a person shot at the Millwood Park Apartments on June 12 where they found Jarmichael Brown, 31, dead from a gunshot wound.

Investigators eventually obtained a warrant to charge Kaiysa Robinson, 39, with murder.

At one point since the murder, police believe Robinson was in New York, but it is unclear if she is still there.

Police are now offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to her arrest.
