HALL COUNTY, Ga. — The Department of Natural Resources has confirmed a drowning at Lake Lanier.
DNR found the body of a man just before 5 p.m. He was trying to swim across Sunset Cove when he went under about 17 feet of water.
No additional information has been released at this time.
