DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — On Saturday, MARTA let an expanded rideshare service it operates hit the streets.
MARTA Reach relaunched with technology upgrades and branding on Sept. 5. Now MARTA Reach services and MARTA bus services will be the focus of several public hearings.

According to MARTA, the agency is proposing changes to six bus routes in the City of Decatur as well as changes to one of MARTA Reach’s 12 service zones, in this case Zone 301 in Atlanta.
Should the public hearings go to plan, MARTA would enact their proposed changes on Dec. 12.

Hearings will be viewable online at the agency’s website and official YouTube channel.
MARTA staff will be on-site at the following meeting times:
- WHAT: Public Hearing for Proposed Bus and Reach Service Adjustments
- WHEN: Monday, Sept. 14, 2026
- Community Exchange: 6 p.m.
- Public Hearing: 7 p.m.
- WHERE: Decatur Recreation Center

Copies of the proposed changes to MARTA’s Blue Line and bus routes will be available at MARTA headquarters for in-person review starting Monday, with more details online.
