ATLANTA — MARTA announced upgrades to its on-demand ride service fleet, MARTA Reach.
Starting Saturday, MARTA said a new fleet of MARTA Reach vehicles will hit the streets.

The new MARTA Reach fleet vehicles are a set of blue Dodge ProMaster vans featuring what the transport agency described as a more comfortable passenger experience and improved access.
On top of the new wheels, each of the vehicles will also feature a built-in Breeze payment card system, while cash fareboxes are expected to be installed in a future phase.

“The introduction of the new MARTA Reach fleet underscores our dedication to offering state-of-the-art transit solutions and meeting our riders where they are,” MARTA General Manager and CEO Jonathan Hunt said in a statement. “This service has proven to be popular with our customers, and these new vehicles will offer them an even more comfortable ride.”
The MARTA Reach program first launched in March with a temporary fleet of ADA-accessible vans.
All of the new Dodge Promasters in the fleet will feature the new Breeze equipment, allowing passengers to use tap to pay with their Breeze Cards or a mobile payment, right at the door.
