DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police say four men were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on I-285 early Monday morning and two people were seriously injured.

DeKalb police said the accident happened around 1 a.m. near Moreland Ave. At least four vehicles were involved.
Police said five people were hit while standing outside of their vehicles. The four people killed ranged in age from late 40s to late teens. The fifth person remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The person responsible for the accident has been identified and is also in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The victims have not been identified. Police said all four men were adults.
The highway was shut down for at least five hours as police investigated but has since reopened.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
