DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A major drug shipment from California was intercepted in DeKalb County, police said.

The DeKalb County Police Department’s HIDTA Task Force stopped the delivery and searched the location where the shipment was being delivered.
Authorities said 735 pounds of marijuana, five rifles and four handguns were seized.

The department did not provide additional details about any arrests or potential charges.
Police said the seizure is part of ongoing efforts to keep illegal drugs and guns out of DeKalb County communities.
“Our investigators are working hard every day to ensure DeKalb County’s communities are safe,” DKSO said.
