DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash.
Brookhaven police confirm two people are dead and three are critically injured.
The crash happened on Clairmont Road at Century Center.
Police told Channel 2 Action News that one male died on the scene and a female died on the way to the hospital.
An officer told Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach he saw the car going very fast just before it went up on the sidewalk and crashed into the trees.
