COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County parents and students are learning more about a high school student who died on a field trip in Central America.
A district official confirmed North Cobb High School student Tomari Jackson died Saturday in Belize. The school district plans to release a statement Monday.
We're told students and chaperons were in shallow water near a riverbank when Jackson disappeared. Search crews later found his body.
